The Wanderer, The Intruder, the Beggar, The Guard, and the Technician

These characters in the story shaped like obelisks play a key symbolic and aesthetic role, embodying individual personal narratives. Within each obelisk lie a dichotomy and each is assigned a distinct combination of two different glazes that reflect the emotional landscapes of the characters each represents. Sometimes the color combination features a sharp contrast to symbolize internal conflict, at other times a fine subtlety of red and burgundy symbolizes internal unity. These textures and colors become the internal dialogues of each of the figures. Each character's colors interact with a different character's color to allude to the intricate web of relationships and the cycles of influence among these characters.

The obelisks' technical and simple design integrates vibrant glazes, distinct finishes, and precise form to amplify viewer engagement. This form and surface harmony allow each obelisk to project a unique identity, not just as a standalone object, but as part of a collective "story space." This interactivity between color, form, and symbolic meaning invites viewers to contemplate the intersection of self-identity and community, highlighting the roles of each character in the migration narrative through visual cues. These color considerations, alongside spatial alignment, complexify the story, transforming the installation into an immersive and engaging environment.
